Days 6 and 7 - Can Forn-ication

Mas bloggo

A half day on Saturday then free time . . . .  Ahhhhh

First breakfast at Es Glop as usual . . .

Then second breakfast with the team at Macondo . .

The team were looking a little delicate after a big night out . . .

But we managed to make it to the workshop and continue fretting the necks . . .

Some serious precision required . . .

Tone marking dots . . .

Refreshment . . .

Considering scratchplate design . . .

This is what the end product should look like . .

Still a long way to go . . .

We ended the week with a great lunch back at the ranch with the growing band of residents.

A rather unusual vehicle had found its way to the ranch, although very 'eco' I understand . . .

After a monster siesta, rose around 9pm and headed off to San Ferran for dinner at the excellent Can Forn, of Red Hot Chilli Pepper fame, en route to Es Calo for the fiesta . .

Great wines as usual . . .

And great Chuletas . . .

The night got a little blurry . . .

After a few brandies we took a walk . .

And after more brandies and hierbas con hielo, we were no longer able to find our way to Es Calo . .

Returned to the ranch at about 4am, final digestivo then crashed with the tune and lyrics of 'Alberta, Alberta' ringing in our ears . .

Woke at midday on Sunday. DAY OFF !

After a pre-lunch siesta, took a long walk along the cliffs, a swim and then settled into the best restaurant in Formentera (IMHO) . .

As always, we had a great time all of the time  . . .

But we resolved to stick to wine and avoid the excesses of post prandial brandies . . .

We escaped without too much damage to bodies and souls and returned to the ranch for siesta, music and late night renditions of home made songs and of course, 'Alberta, Alberta' . . . .

It was a little windy off the coast yesterday, which caused some folks a few issues . . .

Woke up with a slightly sore head to a new working week . . .

Lots of water and cafe solos this morning I think . . . .

Hasta!
